Full Moon AwardThe UKSMG Full Moon Award is presented to Radio Amateurs and Short Wave Listeners who demonstrate their operating skills on the 50 MHz band using EME. Any mode of operation is permitted and the certificate can be endorsed either INITIALS or COUNTRIES worked. The award is recognised by a certificate marking 100 stations worked. |

The award is recognised by three certificates marking 10, 25 and 100 grid squares worked. The award can be endorsed by digital mode used, i.e. SSTV, JT6M, PSK, RTTY, TOR etc. |

The award is recognised working at least 50, UKSMG members, past and present. An all time member's list is available by clicking on this link: All Time Members Directory. The award can be endorsed SSB, CW, SWL etc.NOTE: membership numbers are not required for this award. |
Jubilee AwardThe UKSMG Jubilee Award is presented to Radio Amateurs and Short Wave Listeners who demonstrate their operating skills on the 50 MHz band. The award is recognised working at least 50, Queen's Diamond Jubilee special prefix stations and/or special event stations. Endorsements are available for 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 stations worked. The award can be endorsed SSB, CW, SWL etc. |
Rules:
All awards are governed by the following rules:
- The certificate is available to members and non-members of the UK Six Metre Group although we would encourage you to join.
- No cross band contacts permitted.
- For SWL, station logs must show both the claimed station and the station being worked.
- QSL cards are not required but both stations must consider all contacts complete and a signed declaration is required from the applicant on the application form. The Awards Manager reserves the right to request a copy of logs to support any application if required.
- The start date for eligible QSO's is January 1st 1989.
