"It is with regret that I pass on the very sad news that Dr. John Tindle GW3JXN passed away this evening (Thursday, 17th January 2013). I am sure that everyone would like to pass on their condolences to his wife Nesta and daughter Jane.
I have known John since gaining my license 13 years ago and he has been a great friend and mentor. He will be sadly missed by myself and many others."
