GM8BBA Silent key Elvin Bailey passed away 18 march 2012 A member of the six metre group, he was most active on 6, 4 and 2 metres and was an RSGB newsreader as GB2RS on sunday mornings on the 2 metre net. Always good for a chat on 2 metres the band is so much quiter without him. Elvin often phoned me at the start of the Es season to report on how the band was shaping up and was a regular on the 6 metre and 4 metre cumlatives. Sadly missed by all his friends Rest in Peace.
