The UKSMG Winter Marathon

The UKSMG Winter Marathon

The UKSMG aims to promote and encourage activity on the Six Metre band and the Winter Marathon is an ideal opportunity to raise activity.

The UKSMG winter Marathon is open to ALL amateur radio operators world-wide. (UKSMG membership is NOT required.)

This year we are continuing with the Legacy Marathon and a Digital Marathon for this years Winter Marathon. Any QSO may be uploaded. The website will then sort the Legacy modes from the Digital modes and present them in seperate Standings Tables. You may enter either or both sections by managing the QSO' you upload.

Legacy Modes are; CW, SSB, FM, AM, RTTY and SSTV.
Digital Modes are; any other mode not considered as 'Legacy'.

The objective is to work as many 4 digit grid squares as possible between the first day of December (01 December 2025 at 00:00 UTC) and the last day of January (31 January 2026 ending at 23:59 UTC) on the Six Metre band.
