Amateurs are advised that updates to a number of band plans are now in effect in the UK and across IARU Region 1 as of 1 June 2016. The changes to 80m, 30m and VHF provide for greater flexibility for narrow band digital modes. The new version also includes some editorial updates in other bands. Changes for the 6 Metre band are the removal of the 50.401 MHz WSPR beacon section.
