Phil K3TUF, Gerry KB3SSZ , Dale N3BNA and I will be travelling to Haiti on June 19th to help complete the erection of a 300 foot tower for Radio Lumiere, an AM radio station in Menales near Port-au-Prince, Grid is FK38. In our spare time we will be trying some HF, six and four meter operation. HF operation will be concentrated around ARRL Field Day. Equipment for six meters will include at least 200 watts and a 5 element M2 yagi; on four meters there will be an IC-7300, TE systems brick and 5 element Directive Systems yagi by W8ZN. On HF there will be wire antennas or a vertical. WE should have internet and will monitor ON4KST. At this point we will be signing our call signs with the prefix HH2 but we are hoping we may be able to get a special event 4V call sign.
