Chris, VP8DBT in the shack
A quieter day today with just 40 QSOs.
There was nothing spectacular, but signals were still very strong, especially
into 9H as usual. Each day has
seen less propagation than the one before. While I went out for a drive,
Keith, VP8CMT, worked quite a few Europeans giving them their second VP8! And Nick,
5B4FL his third! Unfortunately, we did have a bit of a disaster with smoke
billowing out of the rotator, but Keith does have a backup and we plan to get this
installed first thing in the morning. The Globe, Stanley's second pub, calls
tonight after dinner! However, I soon abandoned that idea as it turned out to be full
of loud music and flashing lights. I must be getting old!
